Are there restrictions for children on Analisa?

No. However we do request that an adult member of the party accompany children at all times.

Can you handle special dietary requirements during a chartered cruise on Analisa?

Absolutely! Prior to charter , we will send you a Food and Beverage Request Form ( preference sheet)
This allows us to tailor the menu and refreshments to your specific tastes and diet.

Do I need a passport to cruise on Analisa?

Yes. A passport is the principal requirement for entry into the British Virgin Islands. Visitors from some countries may also need a Visa. If in doubt , please contact us and we will check with the BVI Department of Immigration for you, to find out what your specific requirements are.

Do I need to bring linens or beach towels?

No. We provide all linens and beach towels that you will need for your cruise. Linens are changed every three to four days throughout the charter. Beach towels are provided both on deck and for shore trips.

Do I need to bring yachting shoes?

If you like yachting shoes , then sure, bring them along! Generally speaking Analisa is a " no shoes" boat. There is no need to purchase an expensive pair of yachting shoes. We would recommend that you bring sandals or sneakers and perhaps some reef shoes.

Does Analisa have a “Tender” (an accompanying activity boat)?

Yes! She has two! One of the great amenities on Analisa is a 15 foot Tender, with a 60 HP outboard motor. We use this tender for shore trips, water skiing, water sports and more. She also has a 12 foot tender with a 30 HP outboard motor.

How do I handle special medications while on a cruise on Analisa?

We suggest that you bring with you a plentiful supply of any prescription medication you need - more than enough for your entire trip. It also helps to have a copy of the prescription with you. There are pharmacies on the islands, but these are difficult to reach and your prescription may be impossible to obtain. It is best to plan ahead in this regard.

How long does a chartered cruise on Analisa last?

Cruise rates are based on a " full week charter " ( eight days and seven nights) . Analisa can be
booked for as many days as you wish , with a minimum of four nights.

I’ve never stepped foot on a yacht before…will I still enjoy this trip?

Absolutely! You do not have to have any boating experience at all to enjoy this holiday. Many of our guests have never stepped foot on a yacht before, and are always delighted with the level of comfort and service we provide. If you would like to participate in the steering, anchoring or navigation of the vessel you are most welcome! Otherwise you can just sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride...

Is Analisa suitable for celebrating special occasions?

Certainly! We love to help our guests celebrate the special days in their lives, while they are aboard Analisa. In the past, our guests have celebrated wedding ceremonies, honeymoons, anniversary trip , second honeymoons, birthdays, family reunions, spring breaks, Christmas and new year parties and more. Whatever the special occasion, the crew of Analisa will get into the spirit of the occasion and will work hard to help make your celebration a perfect occasion.

Is seasickness a problem on Analisa?

Seasickness is usually not a concern. One reason why the British Virgin Islands are such a popular destinations for yachting holidays is that the seas are so calm. The many islands protect us from the open waters beyond . Analisa , as a motor yacht, is an incredibly stable and comfortable ride. It is very rare for any of our guests to suffer from seasickness. However, if you are particularly prone to motion sickness, or just want to play it safe in this regard , we would recommend that you bring over -the -counter medication with you for the first day. Also, as an alternative and natural seasickness remedy, you can try the pressure point sea sickness bands which are available in your local stores.

Is smoking allowed on Analisa?

As with most yachts, and in the interests of safety, we strictly adhere to a rule of no smoking below deck on Analisa. Smoking outside is acceptable.

Is there a telephone available on Analisa?

Yes, there are both cellular and satellite pnones on board Analisa, so you are never out of touch. Guest are welcome to use the phone, but there is an additional per–call cost.

Is wireless Internet available onboard Analisa?

Yes. Wireless Internet is available onboard . We also have a laptop available for guests . Although Internet access is patchy out on the ocean , the wireless service does work in most anchorages that Analisa visits.

Is there air conditioning on Analisa?

Yes. Analisa is fully air conditioned , but with the breeze in the anchorages it is rarely needed .

Is there fresh water on board Analisa?

Yes. We have an unlimited supply. Analisa utilizes a reverse osmosis water making system on board that keeps our fresh water tanks full. There is always plenty of drinking water as well as hot water for the showers.

What about sunscreen and suntan lotions?

We recommend that you bring a plentiful supply of waterproof sunscreen ( factor 15 or higher) with you . Please bring the NON SPRAY PABA-FREE kind as PABA is very destructive to the varnish and stains the upholstery of our boat . No SUNOILS onboard please.

What is the daily itinerary whilst onboard Analisa?

On the first day of your cruise , you can do whatever you want to do out here in the beautiful British Virgin Islands ( as long as it is legal!) On the second day , you can do the same thing, and so on , and so on....We have no fixed daily itinerary onboard Analisa, so your captain will plan each day of your vacation with your preferences in mind.

What kind of privacy can I expect while cruising on Analisa?

Crew quarters are in the bow , and all guest accommodation is aft. This separation gives total privacy. Analisa's spacious living quarters , saloon and deck areas allow great flexibility , so you can enjoy togetherness , or privacy , at any time. Your crew can join in the daily activities as much as you like , or if you prefer they will give you maximum privacy. The crew is always sensitive to your wishes.'

What requirements are there regarding luggage?

As with most yachts, Analisa has a limited amount of storage space aboard. Therefore , we ask that you bring only soft luggage. Also ,when heading down to the BVI , try to pack essential items in you carry-on luggage , as airline delayed luggage is not unheard of in these parts..

What should I pack for the cruise?

A cruise on Analisa is a casual and relaxed vacation , so pack accordingly. You will need swim wear, T-shirts, shorts, wraps and perhaps a light cotton jumper or sweat shirt for the evenings. If you wish to dine ashore at one of the hotels or fine restaurants , you will need to bring one outfit of more formal attire , such as slacks and a shirt with a collar. By mid-charter , most of our guests comment that they have over packed and that the next time they will bring half as much.

What’s the drug policy on Analisa?

Analisa strictly enforces a " zero tolerance " policy regarding illegal drugs. If you are found to be in possession of an illegal substance while aboard Analisa , we will terminate your cruise immediately, with no refund of money.
